    REGISTRATION DEADLINE

Registration remains open while rooms are available. Registration submissions are required three weeks before your desired check-in date. Exceptions can be requested by emailing internlodging@housing.gatech.edu.

    CHECK-IN

Check-in is only guaranteed during our office hours from 8 AM to 8 PM. During the summer, we are open daily, including weekends and holidays. After-hour check-in is not guaranteed. While we can often accommodate after-hour check-ins, advance notice is required. You can email us your request at internlodging@housing.gatech.edu.

    Payment Deadlines and Refunds

    DEADLINES

Pre-payment: A non-refundable pre-payment of $438.22 is required upon acceptance of the online contract. The pre-payment serves as a deposit and secures your room. This goes toward your final rent due and is equal to one week’s stay, including tax and the $50 application fee. Pre-payments are accepted online through credit or debit card.

Rental payments: The full amount is due three days prior to check-in. The total balance and due date will be outlined in an email sent to you before your arrival.

Please note, per state policy, rental payments cannot be split into installments. The full amount must be paid in one lump sum by the specified due date.

    CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

With the exception of pre-payment and application fees, refunds will only be processed when Georgia Tech Conference Services is notified in writing of cancelation. All requests for refunds must be made at least 24 hours in advance of check in.

Once dates of stay have been selected and the terms of contract agreed upon, there are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

    Types of Applications

    • Individual Intern: If you are an intern and wish to register for housing on your own, please select the Individual Intern option. This is for interns who are responsible for their own registration and payment. Your company may choose to reimburse you.
    • Company: Please select the Company option only if you represent a company that plans to register and pay for multiple interns.
If you need to register 10 or more interns, please contact us directly to discuss bulk registration and payment options.
    • Interning at Tech: If you are interning at GA Tech and want to stay on campus, you can register with us directly. However, if your department is paying for you, please connect us with your Program’s Coordinator so we can discuss our Sponsored Lodging for GT Departments Program.
    • Georgia Tech Department: If you represent a GA Tech Department and will pay for your interns or research students, please register as a part of our Sponsored Lodging for GT Departments Program.

    Intern Lodging Program Registration

Individual interns and sponsoring companies must agree to the Georgia Tech Terms and Conditions, which are outlined in the online application and contract.

If a company is sponsoring multiple interns through a company account, each intern’s information must be submitted through the online application form. A single license agreement will be generated that covers all interns sponsored by the company. This ensures that all interns under a company’s sponsorship are properly accounted for and included under one agreement.

    Optional Add-Ons

Meals: Meals and on-campus dining are available for purchase. To see some of the dining options click here.

As a guest, you can purchase Guest Institute Funds, in the amount of $100, $200, $300, or $400, which comes with a 20% bonus. All meal plans are nonrefundable. These funds can be used at our dining halls and other dining options across campus, including in the Student Center.

If you are interested in purchasing a meal plan, we recommend requesting to stay in our North Ave Apartments, as they are conveniently located next to our North Avenue Dining Hall.

Please note, our dining hall hours over the summer are to be determined.

If you would like to add Guest Institution Funds after you have completed your registration, please email us at internlodging@housing.gatech.edu. We would be happy to assist you.

Georgia Tech Students: Georgia Tech students are encouraged to add the GT Voluntary Student Fee in order to be eligible for all available services designed for GT students, e.g. Intramurals.

    Things to Do in Atlanta

The Georgia Tech campus sits in the heart of Midtown Atlanta and just north of Downtown. Our city encompasses many neighborhoods, including the Airport area, Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead and Perimeter, as well as attractions in surrounding areas – Cobb County, Gwinnett County and Dekalb County.

Downtown includes sports venues like Philips Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Georgia World Congress Center, Centennial Olympic Park, World of Coca Cola, Georgia Aquarium, CNN Center, The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, Freedom Park, The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum, Center for Civil & Human Rights and College Football Hall of Fame.

Midtown ranges from Tech Square & Piedmont Park to the Westside Cultural Arts Center and Atlantic Station. Visit The High Museum, the Margaret Mitchell House or stroll along The Beltline or Peachtree Street to dine or shop.

Venture farther north to Buckhead and Perimeter for more restaurant choices, shopping and entertainment venues. MARTA access is available along this corridor. Venture away from MARTA and the 85-75 Connector and Georgia 400, and you will find Gwinnett Arena in Gwinnett County, Six Flags over Georgia, White Water Park, Truist Park and The Battery in Cobb County, and Stone Mountain State Park in Dekalb County.
