2023 Student Spotlight: Tyler Rion

The Office of Conference Services congratulates graduating student staff member, Tyler Rion.

Caps Off to Our Graduates

The Office of Conference Services would like to recognize the seniors on our staff, not only for their hard work, dedication and contribution to our efforts but also for their academic accomplishment. You have studied throughout the night; worked on countless papers and projects; sweated over exams; laughed, cried and everything in between. To this we say congratulations and a hearty thank you! You made it! You are a Georgia Institute of Technology graduate!

We celebrate you and appreciate everything you have contributed to make our office a success. We hope your time working with us has been as beneficial to you as it has been to us. We wish you health, happiness, blessings and every good thing.

Graduating Student Staff Member

Tyler Rion

Major: Biomedical Engineering

What I learned working with conference services: The biggest thing I learned is to be ready for anything. You don’t necessarily have to be prepared for every possible situation but be ready to respond if a situation arises in a calm and informed manner to make things go as smooth as possible.

Other Involvement at Georgia Tech: Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity

Favorite Georgia Tech Memory: I really enjoyed working my first summer at Conference Services making lots of friends and learning how to react to some out of this world problems on the fly. On top of that I was improving my time management as well as just general people skills.

Advice to Incoming First-Year Students: Get involved in some way whether that is finding a club or fraternity/sorority on campus or even a job on campus (like conference services) to get you out of the house and getting to know people you might not have run into otherwise.
